When I got back into the hobby, I knew that I needed a playing days card of Ted Williams and this is the first Ted Williams card I acquired.
Ted Williams is arguably the greatest hitter in baseball history.
His hitting skill and discipline at the plate were unmatched.
He is also an American Hero selflessly sacrificing nearly five full seasons, in his prime, to serve as a fighter pilot in both World War II and the Korean War. His ability to return from military service and continue to dominate Major League pitching stands as a lasting testament to his greatness and patriotism.
