1910 T218 Jack Johnson 🥊 Front Facing & Side Facing Variations
Jack Johnson is one of the greatest World Heavyweight Champions of all-time and the first African-American to hold the title.
These cards are well over 100 years old and the artwork is amazing.
Jack Johnson had two cards in the iconic T218 Champions set, pictured here.
The front facing variation is significantly more scarce than the side facing variation.

1911 W.D. & H.O. Wills Green Star & Circle Issue 🥊 Jack Johnson
This issue is over 100 years old and among the earliest UK tobacco cards issued featuring Jack Johnson.
I bought this card raw and sent it in for grading.
This set has a total of 36 boxers and was printed by Wills for its Scissors brand cigarette cards and later for its Wills brand cigarettes. The Wills cigarette cards are more scarce and have a star and circle logo on the backs, which is where this set gets its name. These are two different sets but use the same images for the cards.
Graded examples of this card are are not wildly abundant in the U.S. like domestic issues or the later international sets.

1947-66 Exhibits Jersey Joe Walcott Front Facing Variation 🥊 Scarce
There are three acknowledged variations of this popular boxing card, one with Joe facing slightly to his right, one with his nickname "Slug", and this one (front facing).
I've looked for this variation for years and this is the only one I've ever seen for sale.
Jersey Joe Walcott was a crafty heavyweight known for his slick footwork, elusive defense, and deceptive punching angles, earning him the nickname “The Camden Buzzsaw.” After years of setbacks, he captured the world heavyweight title in 1951 at age 37, becoming the oldest man at the time to win the crown. Walcott’s remarkable career is remembered for his perseverance, skill, and memorable battles against legends like Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, and Ezzard Charles.
