This case was previously in a grocery/market in South Brunswick, NJ from ~1948-1970 (history unknown prior to that). After that, my grandfathers employer moved into the building and my grandfather got it. He moved it down the road to his house and it held all kinds of trucks and tractors for display and grandkids to play with until about a month ago. Now it’s at my house.
Left side is all things from my grandparents. Top middle is a trophy ball from Colgate - Lafayette in 1933. Under that is a game worn Blair Betts New York Rangers helmet. Top right is a 70’s era Colgate game ball and some PSA wax packs. Under that is a piece of the goalpost from a Colgate playoff win in 2003 with another game ball from 2005. The bottom quadrant of helmets are all ones I wore for Colgate and a few semipro teams. Picture on top is a panorama of Colgate at Syracuse in 1915.

Very easy to spot a World War II era program

1893 letter from the manager of the Colgate Academy football team to the manager of the Johnstown YMCA asking for a game. Colgate Academy was basically the local prep school that was near Colgate University in the late 1800s / early 1900s. Not sure if they ever did play a game.

"Dear Sir: Hearing of the great success which you have gained upon the athletic field in football, I should like to arrange a game with you. Our dates are filled for home games but should be glad to give you a game on your grounds. What guarantee will you make us for a game? Please make us an offer and mention a date."
