As I was reading the well-written column on Mantel, "One Piece Card Silliness," my mind was asking has anyone read something similar about EBAY's responsibility in listing questionable scam or OVERHYPED cards listing as 1 of 1? Related thoughts, doesn't this type individualistic extra limited odds of a customer picking in a packet seem stupid? Isn't what leads to disgruntled experiences, buying super high risk packs? And Unhappiness in the HOBBY?

Is it just a dream? A false rumor. A joke? Or is Superstar, future HOF ball player Mike Trout being traded to the Boston Red Sox.? Don't wake me up... yet! PBjr

Once the rain stopped today in normally sunny southern California I went out for air to run errands. It also provided a chance to checkout a collection of new baseball cards at my local card store. It is always fun to see the latest singles, wax packs and sealed boxes. And the store is just beautiful. It is all new, organized and shiny. But, BOY OH BOY WAS I STUNNED/SHOCKED when I saw the three levels of boxes for Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball Cards. Respectively up the size ladder - $400, $800 and $2,140. As Dorothy said to Toto in the "Wonderful Wizard of Oz, "we are not in Kansas anymore." Thoughts anyone?

How many times doe a fan hear "Winning is the ONLY thing that matters?" If you watch the Dan Patrick show and saw him with Drake Maye the day after SB XL, HOW can anyone say winning is the only thing that matters. Drake Maye the competitor in him was evident, however the leader and the showing class rose even higher. Maye, showed he is beyond his age years in being one heck of a classy man. Hang in there Drake and all NE PATRIOT fans, keep moving forward. Drake and the Patriots won't be another Dolphin team. Maye "will be back! Just ask Arnold S.....guaranteed Patriot Haters.

Is anyone out there still collecting 1989 Batman Movie Trading Cards? I opened two packs today and had a number of funny very comic like moments. The movie card tag-line to the photo captured scenes were kid-like cute. Actor Michael Keaton was the star. Ripping the two packs made for a fun time with a buddy and wr had many inside jokes to add to our "ripping." We even got three "valued" cards. A winning experience. Go Batman, Go Joker!
