Oscar Robertson didn’t just flirt with triple-doubles, he slow danced with ’em for an entire season like an awkward 8th grader at a Jr. High dance. In 1961-62, he averaged 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 11.4 assists per game. Thats neato imo.

Food for thought: the same year JFK was giving speeches and gas was 31 cents a gallon, Oscar was stacking stat lines like he was playing 2K on rookie mode.

This dude dropped 181 triple-doubles before the term was even a thing.

And yet, when people talk about the GOATs, his name gets slept on more than an overpriced bed from Mattress Firm.
