It's been a few months since we've shared anything after Mantel featured our story, but we've had more time recently to dive into our card collection and after speaking with some experts in the industry we pulled certain valuable cards.

Really happy with what we've discovered so we wanted to share it with this community as well!

It's been a minute since we posted one of our finds from our collection... and we have a ton of new ones to share!

We've been sorting through some more boxes and the first two had a bunch of junk wax - but the third... not so much.

First thing we found was this 1951 Topps Magic complete set. This is the first complete set we've found in our collection (but maybe not the last 😛)

Jim Brown Rookie Card

Post image 1
Post image 2

If you read our article, you’ll likely remember that we’ve already discovered not one but TWO Jim Brown rookie cards in our collection. We shared a photo of the first one anlready and thought we’d give y’all a peek at the second.

This one’s not in as great of condition but it‘s cool to see what Cory’s dad paid for it originally. There are roughly 600 cards in this binder and it’s the first of 3 binders (all vintage football cards from 1957-1986). Every single card is labeled with the price paid and with a red “R” for the rookie cards. Gives a pretty good glimpse into the care and time LJN devoted to his passion as a collector.

We promised to share more of our collection with y'all and figured we'd start at the beginning with 1948 Bowman

(We posted earlier with the wrong year and couldn't edit so here we go again!)

Uncovered another hidden treasure tonight! We’ve been slowing sorting through our inherited vintage card collection and keep being surprised by the sheer volume of rare cards we‘re finding. We went live on IG (@lejendarycards) to leaf through a binder labeled 1959-1965 and shared what we found. We set out to see if we had the 1965 Topps Joe Namath rookie card and we were not disappointed.
