1959 Topps Jim Brown (2nd year)

Yeah, I know. It’s BCCG. Lord knows I didn’t grade it with them. It’s a PSA 7 if I had to guess. I’ll send it in to a different company at some points. But it’s a very nice, clean copy of a 2nd year card of who is arguably the best running back to ever play the game. That’s cool in my book!

Arguably the best running back that has ever graced a football field, these 1958 Topps rookies are tough to find in good condition. This one has great centering and eye appeal and has a clean, bold autograph. A firm staple in my football PC.

Really happy with what we've discovered so we wanted to share it with this community as well!

Jim Brown Rookie Card

Post image 1
Post image 2

If you read our article, you’ll likely remember that we’ve already discovered not one but TWO Jim Brown rookie cards in our collection. We shared a photo of the first one anlready and thought we’d give y’all a peek at the second.

This one’s not in as great of condition but it‘s cool to see what Cory’s dad paid for it originally. There are roughly 600 cards in this binder and it’s the first of 3 binders (all vintage football cards from 1957-1986). Every single card is labeled with the price paid and with a red “R” for the rookie cards. Gives a pretty good glimpse into the care and time LJN devoted to his passion as a collector.
