Batman Comic Loses 41% of Total Value in 2.5 Years
The CGC 4.5 copy of Detective Comics #27 sold for $675K on Heritage Auctions last week. This comic is iconic as it the first time Batman fights Bane. The same comic sold for $1.14M two and half years ago, making it a 41% drop in value according to Alts & Ends. This may be great value to the buyer as he got a massive discount, but there has been a drop in value across all comics since the highs of 2022.
Do you think we will see the market highs of 2022 again? If so, then when?
