1937 R314, Wide Pen Premiums ⭐ Joe DiMaggio
Today's mail made me very happy.🙂
Of all Joe DiMaggio's early cards, this 1937 R314, this one is one of the most difficult to get - especially in this condition with phenomenal image registration and without creases, pinholes, tears and writing.
His portrait in this card is borderline "cartoonish".
This is a great card and compared to other PSA 1s this card is superior in nearly everyway.
The knock on this card is the corners and small paper loss on them as well as tape marks on the back (which is blank anyway). These flaws are attributed to this card being stored and taped in an album and they do not bother me in the least.
As you may know, I'm not a Yankees fan "per se" but I am a huge fan of Joe DiMaggio. He was "Joe Cool" long before America understood what it was to be "cool".
Joe DiMaggio embodies grace and greatness - an unmatched combination.
