MJ MONDAY: 1998 Skybox Thunder Noyz Boyz

The 15 card Noyz Boyz set was inserted into Skybox Thunder boxes at a rate of 1:300 packs (1:4,500 player pack odds), making this not only a beautiful set but a difficult pull.

The front of each card features a color action shot of each player, foil stamped name and Thunder logo, and sits on top of the iconic die-cut Noyz Boyz background. Skybox took this set to another level with the use of their "Illusion" paper stock that appears fire-like when reflected in the light.

Compared to the front, the back of this set are fairly plain. Each features a color headshot of the player, the Noyz Boyz logo, a brief narrative on what makes them special, a team logo, and the card number (x of 15 NB).

This set has become fairly legendary for collectors due to its unique design and rarity. This combination has helped prices start to climb over the past few years.

Scottie Pippen = 17 (17 higher)


On a personal level this trio is extremely special. When I started getting back into collecting, this set was on my "grail" list and I never expected to obtain these cards. I had to part with a couple of my favorite MJs to get this Noyz Boys copy, but I'm beyond happy to have this as part of the PC!
