1986 Fleer Michael Jordan

Murray’s distinct abstract technique brings new life to the legendary rookie card—featuring a young MJ soaring toward greatness, elevated by vivid, expressive strokes and bold color play.

Building on that foundation, we wanted to honor not just the card—but the city and the moment.

We added the Chicago skyline, the iconic cursive “Chicago” script, five hidden MJ nicknames (can you find them all?), and a custom Fleer-inspired logo, reimagined as a tribute to the 2025 National.

MJ MONDAYS: Artist Spotlight @mawdoods (on IG)

Today the timeline gets a Supreme tribute — literally.

Presenting Supreme GOAT by the talented @mawdoods — an original, hand-drawn piece that pays homage to the iconic legacy of Supreme x Jordan Brand collabs over the years.

Crafted on upcycled newsprint using markers and ink, this one blends street heat with true collector soul. Raw, bold, and dripping in ‘90s-meets-modern energy — just like MJ himself.

If you are not familiar, Mawdoods he specialize in what he calls “Kixed Media” pieces, often pairing shoeboxes with ink, alcohol based markers, and hand carved elements.

I have been following his work for a while, and when I saw this piece it just spoke to me. I love the hand drawn ink work on the Supreme newspaper. When i saw it was still available, I had to pull the trigger. It’s a beautiful tribute to MJ and a piece that will stay in the collection for many years to come.

Because when it comes to greatness, one label fits: SUPREME.
