Ryan Getzlaf is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player known for his leadership, playmaking ability, and physical presence on the ice. He played his entire NHL career (2005–2022) with the Anaheim Ducks, serving as their captain from 2010 until his retirement.
He retired after the 2021–22 NHL season, finishing with 1,019 points (282 goals, 737 assists) in 1,157 games. Getzlaf is widely regarded as one of the best players in Ducks history and a future Hall of Fame candidate.
