Yesterday's NHL Draft was spectacle to see. It was a first time a professional sport has done a draft in the Las Vegas Sphere and it was eye-catching. Would love to see more of this format for sports events in the future. Check out the clip!

On the side of the NHL Draft, it was a deep draft (no Connor Bedard level player). Macklin Celebrini went 1st overall to the San Jose Sharks. People are saying if he was in the draft last year, he would have been #2, which is saying a lot, as last years top end talent was very high. I wonder how much hype his rookie card will get?

Esa Tikkanen has sold 4 of his championship rings (3 Oilers and 1 Rangers ring), and the New York Rangers ring sold for the most at $139K (the others sold for around $40K each). This is due to the scarcity, as it is the only NY Rangers ring to ever hit a public auction. The Rangers team won the 1994 Championship, led by Mark Messier, and it was considered to be one of the greatest playoff runs and ended a 54 year drought for New York.

Esa is also known to be one of the best Finnish players to ever played the game and has won 5 Stanley Cups.

McDavid's jersey for game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final sold for $70k at NHL Auctions this week. Currently McDavid is having an historic Stanley Cup run. With 42 points, he becomes the 3rd player in history to reach 40 points in a playoffs (beside Gretzky and Lemieux). As a fan, is has been an exciting run to watch. I will be at the game tonight and am hoping for a big W.
