Rogers Hornsby was one of the greatest hitters in baseball history, finishing his career with a .358 batting average, second only to Ty Cobb. A two-time Triple Crown winner and seven-time batting champion, he combined extraordinary offensive dominance with a legacy as one of the game’s most feared right-handed batters.
