Love him or hate him, Coach Knight had a lot of personality. I loved him, but his style was not conducive to the modern methods. The world evolved and his style did not. I was there when he was coaching and his hard-nosed style of coaching was respected…until it went too far. Still, I’m glad he made up with IU prior to his passing. It was scorched earth for a while. Glad to have this one signed and in my PC. He was always nice to me the few times I met him in the mid-late 1990’s.
