This game capped off a perfect season for the Indiana Hoosiers. 32 wins. ZERO losses. A perfect 32-0. Unbelievable. One of the crowning achievements for Coach Knight and IU. A cool relic from a significant moment in NCAA history! I went to IU in the early 1990’s and was glad to be there in the Bob Knight era!

Often the best cards of the biggest names are far too expensive for me to buy into. So I look for players that I love that are more affordable to collect. Enter Victor Oladipo. I’ve followed him since his college days and through his NBA career in Orlando, OKC, Indiana and Miami. I wished he would have stayed in Indiana where the hometown crowd loved him. This is one of his best rookie cards, a true vertical National Treasures RPA graded a gem mint BGS 9.5. Hope he’s able to make a comeback next year!

Anyone outside of Indiana might not even know the name. But, unlike the current one-and-done or NIL college landscape, Yogi played for 4 years for the Hoosiers and was a floor general and leader of some great Hoosier teams. He had some limited success jn the NBA for a couple years as a PG for the Mavs and Kings. He will always be an IU legend and this was my very first 1/1 card (before there were a million 1/1 card every year). The Hoosiers team will have to rebuild with a new coach and system.

TJD. Not a massive card in genera. But as an Indiana alum and life-long Hoosier fan, he was one the few things to cheer for in the past few years. One of the most prominent big men in IU and Big Ten history. He had some ups and downs but I hope he gets some time on the court and the opportunity to improve. Nice little NT duel RPA with a clean on-card auto. (Not associated patches, which sucks for a high-end product) but here we are. #/8. He’s the son of Pacers legend PF Dale Davis, who was one of favorites from the 1990’s Pacers teams.
