Roy Halladay - 2009 Upper Deck Signature Stars Superstar Portraits
Roy Halladay was one of the most dominant and durable pitchers of his era. He led the league in complete games 7 times, most of any pitcher whose career began after 1945. Halladay is a 2x CY Young award winner and an 8x all-star. He pitched a perfect game in May 2010 and pitched a postseason no-hitter in October 2010. Halladay was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame on his first ballot in 2019. He tragically died in a plane crash that he was flying off the coast of Florida at the age of 40.
