As a fellow Boricua we are prideful people. We love our Flag🇵🇷, We love our little Island, we love our food and our salsa music. But there’s one thing that non-Puerto Ricans always mention to me that will always be a sense of pride. Roberto Clemente. Not just because he was a Great Baseball player but because he was in every sense of the word a Humanitarian and an incredible Human Being. Nothing brings me more pride than to hear people talk about him and the respect that is always used when describing him. My children all wore #21 in his honor when playing sports. He died before I was born and I still feel connected to him because he embodies who I aim to be. Someone who will always answer the call of those in need. He would’ve been 91 years old today. His memory will live on forever by those of us who understand he is what we all need to be. May he continue to rest in peace and may others carry on his legacy.

Very sad to hear about his passing just a few days ago. He was such a great guy and had such a crazy experience with Apollo 13. As a Chicagoland resident he was definitely a big figure in the community and really big in help the Veteran's in our area with having a VA care center named after him in North Chicago. I go there quite a bit with my Great Uncle for his doctor visits so I always enjoy reading up on James Lovell anytime I sit and wait for my uncle to get done. An absolute legend we lost…

A very good family friend's late husband used to treat Alonzo Mourning with reflexology. This signed book was gifted to him after helping out the NBA/Heat legend. It is an honor to have this in my collection, and I am touched that our friend chose me to carry on this memory. Alonzo is a fantastic person with a huge heart.
