The story behind how I got this card is kind of long but great in my opinion !
So I have only owned this card for about a week so far but the story behind how I got it goes like this, I was just visiting my dad at his house, we were talking for a few hours and going through sports cards, he bought me a few boxes for my upcoming birthday and I pulled a Bo Nix sweater patch card which I immediately sleeved up and sent photos to my friend who is a huge Denver fan, we veered off topic and started talking about old western movies and I know that it isn’t that old but I brought up how I loved watching the movie young guns when I was a kid (I am 25) and it was the first western I had ever watched, Emilio Estevez played Billy the kid well in my opinion, anyways I told my friend I would be stopping by to give him the Bo Nix card as I am not a Denver broncos fan and he has a big Bo collection going, I was at my dads for about two more hours then I drove to my friends house down the street, when I walked in he had this 1933 goudey billy the kid card in his hand and he just said “look what I found in a bin of cards I just bought “ I thought god sent the card right to me lol, I told him about how I was literally just talking to my dad about Billy the kid ! He let me take the card home as well as a later year goudey card from the 40s that he found in the same bin as a birthday present to me and also a thank you for just giving him the Bo Nix card. Talk about accidentally manifesting something cool !
