Building the leaf set can be a challenge when you start getting into the short print purchases. You basically just gotta suck it up and pay up for some of the common players.
Got this raw in a trade a few years back from a buddy I used to trade with when I was 12 years old. We knew it would only get an authentic designation. I know I could upgrade it but im just gonna keep it as it will remind me how fun it was trading with my childhood buddy.
Unfortunately, this is my only Babe Ruth card. I’d love to get an autograph, prime patch, bat barrel, bat knob, “called shot” ticket, or other unique Ruth item. But for now… This single Ruth card will have to do. She’s a beauty!
