Bill Belichick was not voted into Canton, Ohio this year after not receiving enough votes in the new grouping of Hall of Fame grouping where retired coaches could be put on the ballot after only 1 year out. Usually you have to wait 5 years.

I just do not think enough time had passed for the voters to truly appreciate what he has done for the NFL and the success he had. He was up against many others on the Ballot that had just missed getting in, in the past.

I’m definitely biased as a Pats fan but if he’s not a first ballot Hall of Fame coach, then who will be?
