I don't have many hockey cards (other than what I got as a kid in the 80s). But I really like the look of the 1954 Topps set and Gordie is a legend, so I couldn't resist picking this up at a recent show.
Pitching 18 seasons (1991-2008) in the AL East, right through the heart of the "Steroid Era," Mussina's 270 wins, 2,813 strikeouts, and 7 Gold Gloves speak volumes. He outsmarted some of the game's greatest hitters when they were at their peak, proving that intellect and adaptability are just as powerful as pure heat.
I think so! 384 home runs (69th All-Time), 1,628 RBIs (34th All-Time), 2,866 Hits (47th All-Time). The only eligible players with more hits that have not made the Hall are Pete Rose, Alex Rodriguez, Rafael Palmeiro, Barry Bonds, and Omar Vizquel.
