1972 Topps was in the wheelhouse of my prime collecting days and I love these cards. This is one of my favorite cards.
53 years ago, today, Roberto Clemente gave his life trying to make the world a better place. He was my childhood baseball hero and I was heartbroken when I heard the news about his death.

On October 31, 1973, the Bucs swapped back-up catcher, Milt May to the Astros for future left-handed All-Star Jerry Reuss.
This was when the Bucs were relevant, way before Bob Nutting entered the picture as the team owner.

On October 13, 1971, the Bucs and O's played Game 4 of the World Series at Three Rivers Stadium.
It was the very first night game in MLB history, with the Buc winning 4-3.
