Since I just posted a Wilt Chamberlain signed 8 x 10 it’s only fitting that I post biggest rival, Bill Russell. Bill Russell is a dominant force for the Celtics both offensively and defensive. He won 11 NBA championships with the Celtics and will always be remembered as one of the greatest Celtics, and greatest men, to ever play the game. This is a beautiful black-and-white 8 x 10 with His autograph in blue sharpie, clean. Bold. And bright.

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to meet Wil Chamberlain, a number of years ago when he was signing autographs at the national convention. At that time, autographs on vintage cards was still somewhat frowned upon. At my young age, I did not have the money to buy an early Wilt card to get autographed anyways. Still, I was very happy to get this cool 8 x 10 autograph of his. He was kind, and gracious in person as well. Thinking back, I would’ve loved to get 1961 Topps rookie card or a 1969 Topps, tall boy signed by him. Love that I had the foresight to get him to sign “Wilt the Stilt” though!
