I love this Jimmie Foxx card; and though this is not his RC it's probably my favorite mainstream XX card.
Jimmie earned Card #1, in Goudey's 1934 set by having a monumental season in 1933.
That year, Jimmie won the A.L. Triple Crown with a .356 BA, 48 HR

home runs, and 163 RBIs. He earned his second consecutive A.L .MVP award, was named to the inaugural All-Star team, and set an A.L. record with 9 RBIs in one game.

This goes against decades of tradition, which begs the question, "Are the Dodgers the new Yankees?"🙃

He finished his career with a .333 career batting average, and was known for his speed, defense, and baseball intelligence.
Modern cards with vintage player relics are OK in my book.
