the hobby is quirky. In vintage, a regular player card is almost always worth a lot more than an all-star card of the same player in the same year. I look at cards like this as a buying opportunity to get some of the cards I can’t afford otherwise (a trend you’ll see my collection has often. I zag when everyone zigs). Hobby purists love the 1968 Topps set. (I’m more partial to 1969). I was able to get this for <$50 at a local show while everyone else was buying shiny, over produced cards of Skenes, Elly, and Witt. I’ll take the Hank Aaron all day, every day.
