2006 Topps Triple Threads Relics Auto, Barry Bonds 700.
Let me be clear up front, the subject of this post stirs emotions in baseball fans.
My intention is not to stir the pot, so to speak, but only to post cards that I like along with providing historical information.
On August 7, 2007, in San Francisco, Barry Bonds hit home run No. 756 to break Hank Aaron’s storied record with one out in the fifth inning, hitting a full-count, 84 mph fastball from Washington’s Mike Bacsik. Commissioner Bud Selig and Hank Aaron were conspicuously absent from the game, which the Nationals won 8-6.
Happy Thursday friends and card folk! 🌞
Have a great day! 👊
