So you may have heard by now, there was a sale over the weekend for a flaming hot Cheeto in the shape resembling a Pokémon Charizard. I am genuinely baffled and amazed, but wonder what others think. It’s not truly a collectible nor could you really say it is a 1 of 1.
My “hot” take is this sort of thing really seems to hurt collectible items because it allows anyone to claim outlandish claims on the value of something. While it is amusing to read about, it also makes me question everything about value and worth about items.
