When Upper Deck came out with this set they merged two of my favorite things cards and cartoons. I remember that I opened up the first box and almost completed the whole set. Then, I had to put them into 9 pocket sleeves so I could read them.

Helping out my brother- and sister-in-law with their auction house has its perks—like digging through boxes of cards that come my way.

Today’s find? A stack of 1990 Upper Deck Looney Tunes cards. Instant time machine.

Flipping through them took me straight back to the days of hanging out with friends, swapping cards just to land that one we had to have. No value charts, no comps—just pure fun and cardboard joy.

Sometimes the best part of this hobby isn’t the money… it’s the memories.
