The quality of these cards are unreal. Imagine pulling a Gretzky and McDavid patch auto? I would go crazy. This set looks like it is worth the high price tag.

A bit late on the release date (I heard it’s due to production issues) but the 22-23 Upper Deck The Cup set is finally releasing on Sept 18. Going through the checklist, I was a bit excited (the auto, patch and materialistick McDavid card looks unreal). Will be buying!
Draisaitl, one of my favorite players, just signed a record setting deal in the NHL. It will be at $14M annually for 8 years. Huge deal for the Oilers, as they lock up 1 of the best players in the NHL. McDavid's next deal (which will happen next year) will likely break the record again.
Here is the highest value card for Draisaitl on the market right now (that I can find). Going for about $38K US (Leon Draisaitl 2014-15 Upper Deck Rookie RC Auto 1/1).
I bet a lot of his cards will be worth a bit once his career is finished. Hopefully he can win a championship in the next few years!
