My only Upper Deck game-used bat barrel nameplate of one of my favorite childhood players, Reggie Jackson. Upper Deck nameplates are always a bit of a premium as a licensed product, but oh well. I paid a premium to get it. These almost one-of-kind pieces are so cool and are a focus of my buying recently. If you have any good nameplates, hit me up!

Don’t see too many of the UD Employee Exclusive Luka rookie autos out there. Happy to get this early in his career. Looking forward to see what his Laker career has in store for us! I think the Lakers got. STEAL trading for him while he is only 25 years old.

Since its National Trading Card Day, I figured Id post one my favorite cards of one of my favorite all-time baseball players, Cardinals star, Albert Pujols. This game-worn Upper Deck logoman. Thankfully, this is from his days in St. Louis - it’s hard for me to buy cards of him in an Angels uniform (the same way I can’t buy Paul Pierce in anything except a Celtics uniform…we all have our boundaries!). This would only be better if it was autographed as well.

My love of sweet spot/sweet shot signatures is well documented in my Mantel posts. I wish this was in his Seattle or even his Reds uniform as Griffey is not known (and looks weird) in a White Sox uniform - but it’s the signature with the inscription that I really like. These are still readily available and aren’t super expensive. I might pick up a few others that have different inscriptions on them.
