One of the best parts of collecting, is the hunt. The one card, the last piece, the missing link. Starting today, that hunt will get easier.

We’re launching the Mantel Marketplace beta, and while it’s an early version, we think it’s a big step forward in helping you track down what you’re looking for.

What’s in this beta version:

• Search listings across eBay + Mantelpieces tagged ‘For Sale’

• Bookmark listings you want to come back to (or finally hit that “Buy” button)

• Import your eBay listings to give your cards more eyes and reach

  • To enable this:

    • Go to your Profile, select the About tab

    • Scroll down to the Social Accounts section, click the pencil icon

    • Toggle on eBay, sign in to your eBay account

No more bouncing from site to site. It’s all going to come together.

Coming soon:

• Add more marketplaces (yes, we’re already working on it)

• Create a Want List — tell Mantel what you’re after and get notified when it hits the market

• Smarter analytics to help you buy and sell with confidence

• Improve listing your collectibles in the Mantel Marketplace

This is a beta. It’s not perfect yet. But we wanted to get it into your hands early and start shaping it with your feedback.

We want to hear from the community, what’s the hardest part of finding the items you’re after? If you’ve got ideas, share them in the comments. We’re listening, and there’s a chance we’ll build it into Mantel.

Because in the end, every collection is just a few good finds away from feeling complete.

Just wanted to take a minute to shoutout the Mantel team! This new Update is awesome, and I am enjoying the dark mode! And there was some controversy with the post update last time, but I love the way they handled it! Shoutout to @MantelHQ! Keep up the good works, guys!

We’ve rolled out a few new updates and have more on the way. Here’s what’s new and what you can expect.

Dark Mode is Here (Mobile App Only)

A long-requested feature is finally live. You can now switch to Dark Mode for a more comfortable browsing experience. Just tap your profile icon in the bottom right corner and toggle it on from the menu.

Following Feed Sorting

You now have the option to sort your Following feed by Recommended or Latest. To access it, tap the Following tab, then tap the sorting icon on the right to choose your preferred view.

The Recommended feed will stay as the default but we’ll continue improving it so you can see more of what you love while still discovering new content and collectors across the platform.

A Quick Note

We know things have been a little quiet, but we’ve been heads down building a few new features designed to help collectors grow their collections. These new features will launch in beta and we’ll be experimenting with them, so your feedback will be key to making them even better.

To get the latest update, simply restart the app or tap the Update Now button when prompted.

We’ve rolled out some improvements to Mantel Groups – create, customize, and lead your own corner of the collecting world.

Private Mantel Groups

You can now apply to create private, invite-only Groups. Whether you’re into niche collectibles, local trading, or a tight-knit crew of hobbyists, this is your space to build something special. Head to the Discover tab in Groups and tap "Apply" to get started.

Edit Group Profiles

Admins and mods can now edit Group profiles to better reflect the vibe and focus of the community.

Group Moderation

We’ve added more moderation features for Group admins and moderators to help manage posts and keep things running smoothly.

Mantel News in Your Feed

Stay in the loop with curated Mantel News articles added to your feed. Quick hits on the latest happenings in the hobby.

We’re looking for passionate collectors who want to grow something of their own. If you’ve got a niche and a vision, build a Mantel Group, invite others in, and help make Mantel the best home for collectors everywhere.

We’ve made some new updates to make discovering, posting, and jumping into conversations easier than ever. Here’s what’s new:

Redesigned Group Discovery

Exploring and posting to Groups just got a major upgrade. The new discovery page and updated Power button flow make it simpler to find the Groups that match your interests and start sharing. Whether it’s your latest pickup, a burning question, or something wild you spotted in the hobby, there’s a Mantel Group ready for it.

New Push Notifications

Get notified when people you follow create a new post and comment so you can jump in while the conversation’s still active. You can also enable alerts for new posts in your Mantel Groups with the option to receive notifications from all new posts or only from admins and mods.

Polls in Groups

Polls are now live inside Mantel Groups. It’s a great way to settle hobby debates, get quick opinions, or just keep things fun and interactive.
