1960 National Bank Bobby Prescott ⭐ MLB Pioneer
In my quest to collect a playing days card of every player who played in both the Negro League and MLB, this is my card for MLB Pioneer Bobby Prescott.
Bobby appeared in only 10 games in MLB for the KC A's, starting two of them.
He played in the Negro League for the Jacksonville Eagles.
This is the only card I've ever seen for Bobby Prescott, then playing with the Washington Tacoma Giants and I think only a few have ever been graded by PSA.
This card helped fuel my respect and admiration for minor league cards.

He might sign thousands of cards every year, but if you had told me I could own this for $40 in 1987, then I would be out mowing yards. Couldn't resist adding this to the collection.

This is a very cool 1982 TCMA Columbus Clippers Don Mattingly minor league card. One of my very favorite cards to collect. Love finding cards of stars and Hall of famers from before they even played a major league game. His 1981 stats:

.314 average , 172 hits, 74 runs, 7 hrs, 98 RBI’s just shows the player he will become for the Yankees. It’s unfortunate that he shortened his career by wearing his body out with so much batting practice before games. I didn’t think that was a thing but it is. Anyways, I love the card and I hope you guys like it too.

As a kid in the early 90s, I loved collecting minor league cards. As a 40-something now, I am thrilled to have picked up this 1987 Bellingham Mariners Griffey auto last night. This is my second Griffey auto and looking forward to building out that part of my PC.
