Easily in my top 3 Pokémon cards of all time.

From 2004's FireRed & LeafGreen set, the card shows Squirtle in the iconic scene from Nirvana's 'Nevermind' album cover. Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, who gave us the Base Set Charizard art along with hundreds of other Pokémon art gems over the years.

There are vague references to an Arita interview where he confirmed the connection, but I haven't been able to track it down. That said, given that Arita would have been in his 20s when 'Nevermind' dropped and some of the pop culture references in his other cards, it feels like a safe bet.
