My Eyes Are On This Texas Color Blast

Post image 1

Rarely do checklist sneak peeks feature a card that catches my eye and fits my budget, but that changed when I saw the 2024 Panini Prizm Draft Picks Football checklist! As a student at The University of Texas, I’m definitely going to have to pick up that dual-color blast of Arch Manning and Quinn Ewers. After watching the game against A&M last night, I can’t shake the feeling that college football cards are only going to get more popular. The money poured into that game was incredible — the most expensive ticket sold for around $3,900! I don’t understand why college cards aren’t treated like Bowman Baseball cards, but honestly, I’m not complaining. I’ll gladly take advantage of the lower prices and hopefully add this amazing card to my collection soon.

S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald

Post image 1
Post image 2

49 years ago The Edmund Fitzgerald sunk on Lake Superior about 17 miles from Whitefish Bay, Michigan. Every year while on our trip up to Canada just before passing thru Superior, Wisconsin into Duluth, Minnesota, we always stop at a McDonald’s that had a large photo of the Edmund Fitzgerald in their lobby. I wish I had bought that painting last time I was there but unfortunately they’ve remodeled by now so it’s long gone but the legend lives on 🙏🏻🙏🏻
