LogoLand - a rookie and a legend

My favorite fubol magazine to read is These Football Times. I did order their 50th anniversary copy The Greatest 50 (thesefootballtimes.shop). Besides naming the top 50 teams, rivalries, and players, they also name their best top 50 futbol team logos of all time. I wanted to see if my all-time favorite team logo for Pumas from Mexico was in there, and they sure were at number 8. I was then amazed to see a team that is only two years old come in at number 6, Angel City FC. Had to look up the story behind the logo and found this great story for you to read for yourself on how that beautiful logo came about. Angel City FC reveals team logo ahead of NWSL debut in 2022 - Los Angeles Times (latimes.com) So cool to hear the creators’ thoughts and feelings that went in to creating the logo. I have attached a copy of my favorite Angel City collectible. This is a digital collectible (nft) 1/1 that I found on a site called Keepr. Keepr is the digital footprint of Parkside Collectibles. Parkside has the licensing for the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). Parkside is an incredible story in itself but will save that story for another day. Parkside partners with Dapper Labs for their digital platform.
I do believe in licensed digital collectibles. I can hear all the groans right now. All good. I just think the blockchain is so underutilized in collectibles. I think the blockchain is the ultimate breathing checklist. I tracked this attached 10/10 logo of Brazil 1970 on Panini platform for months. I used the blockchain to follow the card and was able to make several offers before the seller sold it to me. World Cup 1970 is the most important futbol collectible set for me, as that is the first Panini World Cup set, as well as the first color television broadcast from that Mexico World Cup. This is also the World Cup where Pele went Pele, wearing the famous number 10. This makes this collectible a triple 10 for me. You see the logo, you see the card number, and you know what it means. The following is a cool site to follow the evolution of the Jogo Bonito Team Logo starting in 1914. You can also check your favorite futbol team logo and history on this clever site Brazil Logo History (footballkitarchive.com).  Hope the Angel City logo will only have one evolution on their site. Angel City logo is perfect as is. What is your favorite team logo?

Parkside printed up rookie cards on the spot for the picks at last night's NWSL draft. Pretty cool idea that should be adopted for other drafts!
