Sylvia Fowles is a 6'6" retired American basketball center and four-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year. Drafted second overall by the Chicago Sky in 2008, she played for them until a mid-2015 season trade to the Minnesota Lynx. Fowles won WNBA titles with the Lynx in 2015 and 2017, earning Finals MVP honors both times. In 2017, she was also named league MVP.
