Got this signed by Van Williams (Green Hornet) and Burt Ward (Robin) a Hollywood Autograph Show

So, I was a Video Game Producer and our company had a booth at E-3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) in Los Angeles and at another companies booth they were promoting a baseball game where Orlando Cepeda was appearing live! The deal was if play the video game with Orlando and if you hit a home run that he pitched to you… you would win an autographed photo from Orlando!

It knew it wasn’t easy, because I saw Orlando strike out several people before me. So, when it was my turn, it took a couple pitches for me to get used to how the timing of how the game worked. So with his next pitch, I hit a homer! He was very funny and animated with his response to me, putting his hands on his face letting out a loud, “Oohhhhhh! Why did I throw that pitch to you?!?!” I walked over to him, he signed the picture, high fived me and said, “Good eye!”

RIP Orlando!

Ordered this lot of Alabama cards for 40 bucks on eBay. I feel like that was a good deal for all these cards. Two 1/1’s, two autos, several numbered, and some for free that I didn’t know I was getting. I’ll have to post some of the better cards later. The cards I ordered are in top loaders, and the ones for free are in penny sleeves. Roll Tide!
