What's up, folks! I'm working on a primer on vaulting cards for new/returning collectors and could use your help. Specifically, I'm interested in learning if and how other collectors use vaults.

Can you answer this poll on card vaulting: "Do you vault your cards? Why or why not?"

Feel free to give details about your answer (i.e., provide the "why") in the comment section.

I'll kick it off - I vault the majority of my cards. I'll explain why in my article, but the short of it is that space is at a premium, I travel in spurts for work, and I'm a huge fan of shifting liability (I'm a lawyer...comes with the territory). Vaulting provides protection, flexibility, and access.

I use the PSA and Fanatics Collects vaults for different purposes. I typically use the PSA Vault for short-term holds and the Fanatics Collect Vault for my PC, long-term investments, and cool Serial Numbered/SP cards.
