Last Mailday of 2024 🥂

1953 Topps is my favorite Warren Spahn card by far, and probably my favorite Topps set ever made. I have a graded copy, but a signed copy has been on my want list for a while. I recently missed out on two that popped up, but in hindsight, I’m glad I did…

This copy is in GREAT condition with a bold signature, and was cheaper than both copies I missed out on. This will be headed to PSA soon, likely for a dual card/auto grade. Can’t think of a better card to wrap up 2024 with! 🎉

Happy 23rd Birthday, Billie Eilish 🥳

Post image 1

My love for music transcends cards and collectibles, so it’s fun when they collide! I collect vinyl records, so anytime an artist I’m a fan of releases a limited signed record, I try to grab it.

Billie Eilish is known in the collectibles world to NEVER sign anything due to bad, disrespectful experiences with autograph hounds at a young age. Because of this, until her latest record was released with this limited signed copy, hardly any certified autographs of hers existed in the secondary market.

Some of the major accomplishments she has achieved at the age of 22 include:
9x Grammy winner
2x Golden Globe winner
2x Academy Award winner (youngest ever)
3x BRIT Award winner
2x Song of the Year winner (T-most ever)
2x Apple Artist of the Year (most ever)
19x Guinness World Records
• Youngest ever to sweep the 4 main Grammy categories
• Most Streamed Artist Born This Century

Her music isn’t for everybody, but it’s impossible to ignore the success and cultural impact of her work. So, what were you doing by age 23? 😂

My Biggest Grading Success…

Post image 1

I bought this 1969 Topps Ernie Banks raw for $10 at the 2015 NSCC in Chicago - I wanted a cheap Banks card to remember my first National. It sat in a one touch until late 2022 when I sent it to PSA…and this was the result.
I’m confident this card would sell for quite a bit more now than what I sold it for in early 2023, but this is still the highest profit margin I’ve ever made on a single card 😁

Favorite Baseball Product?

Is there a nicer looking product than Topps Gilded? The Chrome Gilded cards are some of my favorite cards ever made. Just sent this off to PSA for my Albies collection, hoping for a gem 💎
What’s your favorite product?

Happy Birthday, Frank Sinatra 🎙️

Yesterday was the anniversary of Frank Sinatra’s birthday, which is a great time to share my two copies of his 1947 Kwatta Film Stars card, both graded SGC 5. This is his first known card (“1st issue” as I like to call it in the non-sports world), and these are two of the three SGC 5’s in the population - the highest graded. Being the highest graded copies of his first known card, it can be said this is the Sinatra grail card.

Do you have any Frank Sinatra cards or collectibles?
