MJ MONDAY: Artist Spotlight – Louis Wes
You know the rule—if it’s MJ, art, and nostalgia, it’s going in the PC! When I saw “Dr. Jordan” by the insanely talented Louis Wes, it was game over.
This piece hits every note: old-school Nintendo vibes, bold artistic flair, and yes — Michael Jordan like you’ve never seen him before!
Louis didn’t just stop at the artwork — he went full bonus level with a custom red translucent resin figure, a mini cereal box, and some killer stickers to round it all out. Like MJ from the free throw line... he absolutely crushed it.
If you are not familiar, Louis is a New Jersey-based artist with a deep background in art direction, illustration, and animation. He’s worked with Topps, Pepsi, Apple, Google, The Washington Post, and more! His work always comes back to what he loves most: Comics, cartoons, and that 80s/90s nostalgia we all live for.
This one’s a straight-up slam dunk—so glad to add it to the collection!
Happy MJ Monday!
