Today I wanted to share with you the latest drop from my new company Collector Creative, the Sneaker Series: Air Jordan 11.
The Air Jordan 11 debuted in the ‘95 Eastern Conference Finals, and are considered a pop culture icon. MJ wore these during the Bulls' historic 72-win season (1996) and in the “Space Jam” movie.
Designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, the AJ11 introduced two significant firsts for both Air Jordans and basketball sneakers: the use of patent leather and a carbon fiber plate. The sleek patent leather was inspired by dress shoes, a special request from MJ. The combination of patent leather and cloth upper
were inspired by convertible cars, with the glossy body and soft top.
The Jordan 11 became iconic during the ‘96 season. While the original colorway was the "Concord," Jordan wore the “Bred” colorway when he famously clutched the Larry O’Brien Trophy on the Bulls’ locker room floor after winning his first title post-retirement.
This release was limited to a total of 50 pieces. Each piece is hand numbered and signed on the back. Additionally, I have created an online authentication system so you can enter the unique verification number at OriginalCardArt.com and get all of the details about your piece (just like you would with a graded card).
I have been overwhelmed and appreciate the support and response on my original card art pieces. The first 2 drops are sold out and only a few copies of this release remain.
So if you like the artwork that you see, head over to grab your copy before they sell out!
