There’s always a first, or someone who has done it better… In 1998 skybox premium issued these 3-D effect cards. They are what evolved and find the turned into the cracked ice parallels from Panini prism. Some say Topps did it first with some of their atomic factors in 1998, depending on which product came out first… But they were pretty close together. Its fairly rare and hard to find in high grade. But much like the cracked ice, they sparkle in hand. The Jordan and Kobe are probably the two best in the set followed by Garnett, Iverson, Duncan, and Shaq. You don’t see these cards very often at local card shows as they’ve been scooped up and tucked away into personal collections.
