Holiday order for a client who grew up as a fan of Mickey Lolich. It was fun to create this holiday order and even more to learn about Lolich’s career and World Series performance.
The card is made from 5 filaments using polylactic acid. It is 1.92 mm thick and embedded within the holder. The holder and Detroit logo are colored matching the primary colors of Lolich’s uniform.
This is a Wayne Gretzky-inspired Tiki Mug. The entire item is designed in CAD and 3D printed. The mug is designed with a 3mm shell to support the tiki images on its periphery. On one side of the mug is a Tiki-stylized image of Wayne Gretzky during his time with the LA Kings. On the other side is a Tiki-stylized image of the LA Kings logo at the time Gretzky played (vintage logo).
The mug is made from jet-black filament, while the tiki images are from copper filament. The base and top of the mugs are capped with a copper disc, and I inserted a stylized straw at the top (removable).
Displayed here is a desktop-sized bust of Lionel Messi, crafted in marbled white. It captures Messi mid-career. The sculpture stands approximately 75mm tall and is set on a circular pedestal inscribed with his name, also finished in marbled white.
Featured here is a 3D-sculpted card of Joe Burrow, crafted from premium marbled white material. Burrow’s face and hair rise 5mm from the surface, creating a dimensional effect. The card is printed at a resolution of 0.20mm per layer, with the option to refine further for even greater detail and definition.
