Growing up a Bucs fan in the 1970s, I was captivated by the rivalry in the N.L. West between the Dodgers & Reds to see which of these two dynamos would be playing my Bucs for the N.L. Pennant.
Steve Garvey was arguably my favorite non-Pirate player growing up and I idolized Tony Perez as the model of consistency for The Big Red Machine.
Only recently I learned that this card existed and the rest is history - welcome to the collection.❤

2002 Fleer Rival Factions Joe Morgan Game-Worn Pants w/Bill Mazeroski ⭐
In 1971, at the tail end of Bill Mazeroski's career, his Bucs got the better of the Reds going all the way to win the 1971 World Championship.
When Morgan was added to the Reds in 1972, The Big Red Machine was born and the Reds got the better of the Bucs until The Family arrived in Pittsburgh in 1979.
Both are Hall of Famers and each is iconic within his organization.

This one features the first African-American to break the color barrier in the A.L. & N.L., Larry Doby & Jackie Robinson, respectively.
It has a game-used bat relic from Larry Doby, who was my Dad's favorite player.
