This is one of my favorite cards. It's magnificent, even if almost cartoonish.
The true American Icon - Legendary Hall of Fame ballplayer; dignified, disciplined, and professional persona; legendary spokesperson (Mr. Coffee); World War II hero and part of America's Greatest Generation; widely referenced throughout literature and music; celebrity mystique with marriage to Marilyn Monroe.
Generations (like me) who never saw him play recognize the name “DiMaggio” as shorthand for greatness, elegance, and American excellence.

On Thanksgiving Day 2025, I am most thankful for adding this card to my PC this year.
This is considered one of his rookie cards, of which I now have several.
These are very difficult to find especially in this condition with no creases, pinholes, paper loss or extraneous markings.
I bought it raw and sent it directly to PSA and it received a number grade for which I give thanks.

I'm not a Yankees fan, per se, yet Joe DiMaggio is one of my favorite baseball players and an American cultural icon.
On November 25, 1914, legendary Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio was born in Martinez, California. The son of Italian immigrants, DiMaggio made his major league debut in 1936, after starring in the Pacific Coast League for the San Francisco Seals.
He spent his entire big league playing career with the New York Yankees and played on nine World Series champion teams.
