Ardif, a French artist that I met about 7 years ago, still has affordable art (both prints and paintings) and will work on commissions as well. They intricate details on his “mechanimals” have a steampunk like quality that belies his start as an architect. But his stuff while you can as it slowly continues to rise in collectability art, cost, value, and depth.
Okay. My last art post of the night by Ardif. Then I’ll go back to cards and memorabilia. Love this artist. Such great detail. Get him while he is still (relatively) inexpensive!
Love the French artist Ardif. I have a few of his pieces. This Humpback whale painting and pen on canvas is really cool. My then 5 year old son was suuppper into whales when we were picking our “mechanimals” for commission. We settled on this and the octopus. I have a couple limited edition prints, as well, of other animals.
Ardif is a French urban artist/fine artist who is classically trained as an architect and found his way into art by making doodles of animals with gears, pulleys, and scaffolding. Now he’s a full-time artist, painter and muralist. Octopuses are some of my favorite animals and this piece has so much detail and depth.
