Created and produced by Banksy and put out by the art company “Pictures on Walls”, Trolley Hunters is my first Banksy piece, and only signed print I have of him.. Banksy’s popularity is undeniable and I believe he is our generations Andy Warhol. He produces high quality, satirical, political, environmental art. He does murals, prints, sculpture, and other paraphernalia. It is a must to have an authentication certificate for provence by Pest Control. The authentication company that he owns.

Here’s a visual glimpse of Paco Pomet’s Internacional—a striking image featuring a vintage vehicle laden with an absurdly chaotic pile of figures on its back, rendered with Pomet’s characteristic mock-historical and slightly surreal tone. This was one of the big hits from the “Dismaland” art installation set up by Banksy in England, about 10 years ago - later released as a print.

In an interview, Pomet described Internacional (2008) as portraying “very dramatically and humorously the absurdity of our presence (as a rare species we are) in this world.” He called it the most widely shared of his works online. Pomet notes that the painting ties into our disconnection from nature in the modern era. The industrial age—with its assembly lines and urban migration—alienates us from our natural roots, fostering an inflated ego and a compulsion to dominate the world

For those not involved in the art scene, the infamous, anonymous street artist known as Banksy opened up a hotel with an art focus a few years ago called the “Walled Off Hotel”… A take on the Waldorf hotel. He had local sculptors create small pieces of the retaining wall for sale to bring money to the region. These little mini wall sculpture pieces are highly collectible and very valuable. Especially the bigger wall sections like the ones picture here.

If you haven’t seen the Banksy directed the movie “Exit Through the Gift Shop”, I suggest you do. It details, the origin story of urban artist Mr. brainwash and asks the question is this art? I was able to meet Mr. Brainwash at his pop-up art show in London in 2012. The first 250 people in line received this print for waiting hours in the rain to get in. Thoughts?

OK folks… You may not recognize the importance of this odd looking print. Gonefellow is one of the artists in Banksy’s conglomerate and a good friend of his. This art print is very limited in its edition size and features what’s known to be a “portrait“ of the most famous/infamous Urban artist of our generation Banksy (with a box over his head to protect his anonymity, of course!) and can go into details about what I know about him and his crew….but I won’t do that. I know a lot of things about a lot of things…IYKYK
