People don’t understand how big of a card this was back in the day. The 1989 Score football set included great rookies like this Barry Sanders, Troy Aikman, Deion Sanders, and others. I’ve always liked in-action cards better than these portraits, but some portrait cards like this (and the Steph Curry Topps Chrome rookie) seem to stand the test of time. The autograph on this one is clean, clear, crisp, and bold. Barry Sanders is in the top three running backs I have ever seen in my lifetime. And I really like in-person on-card autographs. Is this now considered vintage?!
