I opened my player chase hats from the Lids x Topps Player Chase Series 1 pack from Fanatics Fest. Pretty happy with what I got. Here are the Mickey Mantle and Ken Griffey Jr. hat from the set.

We just pulled the product hit from The Topps Company 2024 TIER ONE! 1/1 GAME USED BAT KBOB OF MICKEY MANTLE!

Just saw this on Linkedin of all places. Mickey Mantle bat relic from Tier 1.

Insanely cool card, but I still can’t wrap my head around why someone would saw off part of the bat from a legend.

Though the card is probably worth more than the intact bat- funny how tossing a 1/1 on the card impacts the value vs. the relic item itself.

Antiques Roadshow - Mickey Mantle Bat

Post image 1

Awesome story I saw that comes from Antiques Roadshow/ABC ⤵️
The Yankees had a bat boy contest in 1963 while little league tryouts were being held. At that time, a girl named Nancy was just 8 years old. She loved baseball and wanted to be involved, but girls were not allowed. She went undercover as a boy named Jimmy, ended up winning the contest and the Yankees went on to name her the honorary bat girl. When Mickey Mantle heard about her story, he wanted to meet her and later on gave her this signed and game-used bat after hitting a home run. The show put a value of $75,000 on the bat today, but Nancy says it’s priceless to her and will never be sold. Pretty cool!
