1936 R312 Pastels, Connie Mack & Lefty Grove ⭐
On September 19, 1931, Lefty Grove of the Philadelphia A’s, wons his 30th game of the season. The future Hall of Famer won against the Chicago White Sox, 2-1. Grove finished the season with a league-leading 31 victories. His manager, Connie Mack said of Grove, ""When I sent [him] in to pitch, I could be almost positive we would win his game if we gave him a run or two".
