Cool photo of a young Dale Sr. on this card. If my Earnhardt collect lacks anything, it’s cards of him during the pre-Wrangler years (pre-1980).

Another one mod my favorite Dale Earnhardt cards. Press Pass released these in a screw down case “sealed” with stickers and a certificate of authenticity and serial numbered. Unfortunately, the manufacturer put the certificate in the case behind the card, which obstructed the reverse side of the card. Additionally, the cards sometimes stuck to the case, which could damage them when you removed them (you can see a little damage on mine in the top-right corner). Despite all this, this is a beautiful and highly collectible card from Dale’s racing days.

This card features a classic moment between two of my favorite drivers at my favorite NASCAR event, the Bristol 500 Night Race. This was actually the second time Earnhardt spun Labonte during the final lap at Bristol. In 1995, Earnhardt spun Labonte during on the final turn and pushed him across the finish line, giving his opponent the win.

This is one of my favorite pieces in my Dale Earnhardt card collection. The 1993 Card Dynamics Quik Check set was sold at Quick Check Food and Gas Marts for $6 between February and November of that year. Printed and serialized on a metal card, there were between 5k and 7k copies of each card printed. A ten card set, it feature legendary racers like Jeff Gordon, Richard and Kyle Petty, Rusty Wallace, Bill Elliott, and Mark Martin.
